Arlia Davis

He served in the U.S. Army as an engineer and then in Civil Service for a total of 29 years.

He was a member of Skyline Baptist Church and People Against Violent Crimes. His hobbies were fishing and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kitty; and parents, James and Sarah Davis.

Survivors include children: Peggy Easley (Joe) of Killeen; Vernon Davis (Eveline) of Lake Limestone; Diana Barnett (Barry) of Killeen; Becky Burton (Stephen) of Hereford; Dirk Davis (Sallie) of Killeen.

Grandchildren: Joe Easley Jr of Killeen; Tiffany Barnett of Aubrey; Jeff Barnett (Helen) of Harker Heights; Rita Roberts of New York; Corey Lewis of Lufkin; Travis Lewis (Allie) of Lubbock; Tyler Davis (Karlie Dianne) of Nolanville; Austin Davis of Killeen. Great-grandchildren: Trinity Barnett, Caitlyn Barnett, Arianna Barnett, Isabella Barnett, Hayden Lewis, Michael Lewis, Chance Lewis, Kinslee Lewis, Orlie Lewis and Carter Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an Alzheimer’s organization or Skyline Baptist Church in his memory.

The family will receive visitors from 5pm-7pm on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen and burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.
