It was time to call and check on you today and your phone was disconnected.  My heart sank and the tears came somehow I knew you were gone.  You will be missed.  All three of us loved you dearly. To Wayne's family especially his girls may God bless and comfort you in these days after his passing. He was a great man and a good friend. I worked with him at Fort Hood and saw him many days at lunch at the Rod and Gun Club. We also spent many hours visiting at his home where we had some great times. Both of us were without wives at the same time and offered each other support during those times. I visited him when he first moved to Maxdale and lived in the original small cabin. I remember an old muzzle loading rifle he had and asked me if I wanted to fire the thing. It was dark outside and I didn't know where I was going to shoot it. He said just open the front door and fire it, so I did from inside the house. Another time I was deer hunting from one of his deer stands and heard a shot. When I walked back to the house he had shot a buck from inside the house out of a window. He had been sitting inside having a cup of coffee. We'll all miss him but remember the good times. God bless you all.

My thoughts and prayers go ut to you on the loss of your loved one and my friend "Wayne".  I've known and owrked wiht Wayne for over 20 years and from day one he was like an older brother to me.  He was always so kind with a huge heart.  I'll never forget the time he brought in venison sausage to work and asked me if I ate deer meat....of course me being the picky eater that I am stated, "no".  Well, after a couple bite of Wayne's potluck sharing , he said..."well you just did".  He was such a joy  to be around and kept us all in stiches when he was around the office.  Wayne will be missed dearly, but I know that he has gone home to be with Sherry and probably either hunting or fuishing up in heaven already.  Heaven won't be the same with Wayne up there.  May you find peace and solace in know that your father, brother and our friend was greatly loved by all.  May God continue to shower his blessing upon your family.
