

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Baron Stinson on August 13, 2025. Born on June 11, 1966, in Korea to Sun and James Stinson, Baron was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him.
Baron was a devoted spouse to Daisy, whom he loved deeply; she was truly the center of his world. Together, they shared a family rooted in love and support. In addition to his children, Baron’s helped raise Daisy’s two sons as his very own. His commitment to his family was unwavering; he ensured that they were always provided for and felt cherished. His influence as a role model was profound, and his dedication to making everyone feel special was a testament to his loving nature.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Stinson and is survived by his wife, Daisy, his children Andre, Darien, Emilio & Isaac, his mother, Sun Stinson, brothers, Daron, Monte, and Mickel Stinson, sister, Sherry Stinson, and grandchildren.
Baron’s professional life was marked by an incredible work ethic that earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He dedicated 27 years of service to the state of Texas as a correctional officer, taking immense pride in his role.
An avid sports enthusiast, Baron was a die-hard Aggies fan and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and cooking for his loved ones. His passion for gaming brought him lots of joy. Baron was known for his solid and dependable nature, always making his love and care evident to those around him.
As the oldest brother of five siblings, Baron’s role as a son was equally significant. He devoted time and effort to his mother, assisting with anything she needed. His kindness and willingness to help others were hallmarks of his character.
Baron Stinson leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and unwavering support. He was a good man whose presence will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. The impact he has made on the lives of his family and friends is immeasurable, and his memory will forever be cherished.
We invite all family and friends to join us in honoring the life of Baron. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2025, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 S. Fort Hood St. Killeen, TX 76542. Funeral Service will be at 10 am Friday, August 29, 2025. Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park Cemetery, 3516 Lake Rd., Killeen, TX 76543
