Bernard Vasclav Knapp of Killeen died December 21st, 2015 at the age of 82. He was born January 19, 1933 to John & Emilie Knapp. He graduated from Gatesville ISD in 1951. Bernard served in the US Army from 1951-1953 where he was stationed in Germany.
He married Edna Rejcek, the love if his life, on November 25th 1961 and moved to Killeen, Tx where he retired from the local telephone company. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emilie Knapp, sister Albina, and brothers John, Jim and Frank Knapp. He is survived by his children, Mike and wife Pam Knapp, Joe and wife Sheila Knapp, Bill and wife Lori Knapp, Pat and wife Pamela Knapp and daughter Cheri and husband David Miller. He has 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 Saturday, Dec. 27th and services immediately following at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.
