

Services for Dana Anthony “Bobby” Corum, 49, of Killeen, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. He died Monday, September 20, 2010. Reverend John Abbey of Bethel Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Youngsport.
Bobby was born March 17, 1961 in Knoxville, TN to Roy Ross Corum and Beada Izetta Hill Corum. He married Shelby Joy Staton March 26, 1988 in Temple. He served in the United States Army from 1983 to 1987 and was currently employed at Home Depot. Bobby was a member of Bethel Church where he sang with the Bethel Trio and the Trinity Trio. Bobby and his two sisters, Theresa and Debbie, started singing at a young age in the Knoxville, TN area. He was a beautiful voice in many gospel groups, most notably, the group Cedar Ridge. Heaven is receiving a beautiful and talented angel that will be missed by so many he touched with his songs here on earth.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy Ross Corum, and by one sister, Janie Battershell.
Mr. Corum is survived by his wife Shelby Staton Corum, three sons; Jordan Corum, Shayne Corum and Joshua Corum, a daughter Julia Corum, his mother, Beada Izetta Hill Corum, three brothers; Roy Corum, Donald Corum and his wife Donna, Victor Corum, three sisters; Belinda Corum, Theresa Corum, Debbie Day and her husband Tim. Pallbearers are Aaron Abbey, Joe Borja, Chris Seavey, Jody Heckathorn, J.D. Woljevach, and Dillon Frederick.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. today (Thursday) at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home.
