Bonnie Mae Whitworth

Graveside services for Bonnie Mae Whitworth, 84, of Harker Heights will be 10:00 a.m. at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens on July 25, 2012 in San Angelo, TX. Mrs. Whitworth passed away Sunday July 22, 2012 in Harker Heights after a long battle with cancer.

She was born July 9, 1928 in Runnels County to William Carl Cope and Mamie Havelee Foreman Cope. On February 16, 1946 she married William Homer Whitworth in Ballinger, TX and they had two children; Brenda and Bobby.

Bonnie was a member of the Baptist Temple Church in San Angelo, TX. For the past three years she had lived with her daughter and husband in Harker Heights, TX.

Mrs. Whitworth is preceded in death by her husband William Homer Whitworth, her parents Carl and Mamie Cope and two sisters; Mamie Jean Miller and Frances Fagely.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda D Collier and husband Jack McCaleb of Harker Heights, her son Bobby E Whitworth and wife Delores of Austin, TX. Five grand children; Kimberly R Hutchinson of Leander, TX., Braden Whitworth of FL., John Allen Collier of Mart, TX., Amy M Urbanek of Hutto, TX., Bonnie Sue Collier of Harker Heights, TX and nine great grandchildren.

Also surviving is one sister Charlene Cottey and husband Bill of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and one brother Douglas L Cope and wife Carol of Spring, TX.

A visitation will be held Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX.
