

He attended Montevideo high school and graduated in 1990. He later went to college at Southern New Hampshire University and graduated with his Master of Arts specializing in history in 2023 and was still going for his doctorates at liberty university. He served in the US Army. Brian was a history professor at Central Texas College and also worked at Bell County Glass for many years. Brian was published in 3 separate issues of Armchair General magazine.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents , C.A. “Bud” and Ardyce Albrecht, and William and Anna Walston.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 33 years, Anna Vitolo, 4 daughters, Carmela (Albrecht) Harris (Breck), Ashley Croney, Nancy Douglass Angela Carson (Arthur) and his son Stanley Douglass, 22 combined grandchildren and 9 combined great grandchildren, his parents Thomas Albrecht and Leanna (Walston) Albrecht and a sister Stacie (Albrecht) Schuler (Tony) as well as 4 nieces and 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. A host of cousins as well as many friends
Brian will be honored with a Visitation at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 76542, on June 23, 2026, at 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm.
