Butch Rogers was born on February 14, 1956 in Louisville, KY to Jeanette and Ronnie Rogers. He loved automobile racing of any kind, especially dirt track racing. He made many friends who became family during his years of racing. He loved to cook out with his best friend, Champ. He was a loving and caring person to all his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet (Jim), grandson Colby (Jordyn) and granddaughter Caleigh, his great-grandson, Braxton; also by his sisters, Betty and Linda, brother Eddie, his lifelong friend and brother, Buddy; also nieces and nephews, three special young men, Timmy, Dustin, and P.J. and many lifelong racing friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeanette and Ronnie, as well as his wife, Ellen.
