Chance was born on December 11, 1981, and was raised in Harker Heights, Texas. He was a licensed union plumber who took great pride in his trade. Outside of work, Chance enjoyed hunting, spending time outdoors, and playing pool and cards—pastimes that reflected his love for both competition and camaraderie.
Chance was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos “Mac” McDowell and Mary McDowell.
He is survived by his brothers, Chad McDowell (Kelley), Colin McDowell (Heidi), and Cade McDowell (Teri), along with several nieces and nephews and longtime friend Jackie Warren who will cherish his memory.
A visitation will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home on Thursday January 22nd from 5-7. A graveside service will be held the following day, Friday 23rd 10am at Garden of Memories cemetery
