Christy Lynne VanAlstine

Christy Lynne VanAlstine(Henderson) was born to Howard and Denise Henderson on May 14, 1977 in Oceanside,CA and went to her final resting place on June 13, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her mother Denise Henderson(Weeks), her mother in law Sandra VanAlstine(Charles), her nieces Diana and Jesse Harmon, and her Uncle Lee Weeks.

Christy is survived by her spouse of 25 years James P. VanAlstine, her daughter Abreana D. VanAlstine, her dad Howard R. Henderson, her sisters Michelle(Kyle) and Sharon (Carl); nieces and nephews: Ariana, Ava, Amber, Scott, Katelynn, Kourtney, Myrissa(Kahia), Victoria, Brandon, Faith, Anthonie(Shelbe), and Dominic.

In addition to her father, spouse, sisters, daughter, and nieces/nephews she is also survived by her Aunt Phyllis, Uncle Mike, Uncle George, Aunt Cindy, Aunt Teresa, Uncle Chris, and Uncle Johnny Ray. Also her in laws Micheal, Trish, Pam(Roque), Paula(Jeff), and John(Rebecca).

Christy touched every family member and friend she ever had.

She cherished every relationship she ever had whether it was just for a moment or over many, many years. She was one of the most kindliest, stubborn, inspirational, loving women you could ever meet or have the pleasure of knowing.

Christy was a woman of strong well and determination and there is no doubt she is in a better place. No more pain, suffering, sadness, or worries.

Although she will be greatly missed down here she will continue to live in us and through us. Gone but never forgotten.
