Delores was born March 30, 1931 in Betsy Lane, Kentucky and passed from this life to Life Everlasting at her home in Killeen, Texas on January 8, 2022 at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 9 days young.
Delores married Mickey Whitaker July 31, 1954 and for 48 years, they were together, until Mickey passed May 19, 2003.
Delores and Mickey had two children, Mitchell Whitaker and Ronald Whitaker. She actually had another child, TINKER, who was a little different from the other two, four legs, cold nose and a tail, but still her child. Delores married Joseph Nelson Basco September 8, 2007.
She is survived by, sons; Mitchell Whitaker of Killeen and Ronald Whitaker and wife Diana of Fort Worth, grandchildren; Ronald William and Rachel Kimren, three great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Delores was a member of the Killeen Garden Club. She had a passion for travel and loved to sit in front of the TV and watch her Game Shows.
Delores is greatly loved, and will be dearly missed.
