Dennis Farmer

Dennis Irwin Farmer, 67, of Tow, Texas passed away October 28th at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas. He was born June 30, 1958 in Frankfurt, Germany. Dennis and his parents moved to Fort Hood, Texas in 1960 where his father was stationed to serve in the U.S. Military. He grew up in Killeen, Texas. He met the love of his life, Carolyn Walker, at a high school football game in Seguin. They have been married for 48 years, and together they raised a beautiful family. He graduated from Killeen High School in 1976. Following his high school years, Dennis worked as an auto body painter in Killeen, Cedar Park, and Austin for 49 years, and he finished his career at Ennis Golf Carts. Dennis was a fan of track and Texas football. He also loved to hunt and fish, especially with his family.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Carolyn Farmer; children, Jennifer (husband Chris) Renegar, Casey (fiancé Holly) Farmer, and Kameron (wife Amira) Farmer; grandchildren, Clayton (fiancé Tiffany), Crisalyn (husband Gabriel), Cayden, and Paige; and great-grandchildren, Mia and Lyla. He was preceded in death by his parents Agia and Ida Farmer. Dennis was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is known for the laughs and smiles he brought to each room, and he will be missed dearly.

A visitation for Dennis will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 765421654. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1615 South Fort Hood Road, Killeen, TX 765421654. A committal service will occur Friday, November 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Live Oak Cemetery, Killeen, Killeen, TX 76542.
