Dear Devin, my heart is absolutely broken knowing you've left us so soon. Too soon. You were an amazing Soldier, an exceptional NCO and a truly honorable man. I am grateful for having known you and for having had the honor of serving with you. May you watch over us as we try to go on in this life in your absence. May you Rest In Peace.
To the family, friends and comrades of SSG Devin Schuette, may your hearts heal as you come to terms with such a terrible loss. Devin's smile is one of my favorite things about him, as it always made a bad day better. Let us remember him for his kind spirit, good humor and his love of family and country.
