I never would have thought I would miss you so very much. It's very lonely without my best buddy. There's been a million funny things I would have like to tell you, just to hear you laugh. You might be gone, but you will never but forgotten, my dearest friend.

I did not have the honor of knowing Mr. Ament but I know he was a true gentleman. He had to have a heart of gold and one that knew no boundries for love. You see, I know his beautiful daughter Bonnie. I will certainly pray for his family as they begin a new chapter without this precious man.

Aunt Mary and all. I'm so sorry I won't be able to make the funeral as much as I'd lke to give all of you a much needed hug. The wonderful memories I have of our families spending time together as we grew will never be forgotten (and that's saying a lot since I seem to forget EVERYTHING these days ;-). The pictures are awesome. Thanks so much for sharing them. It's sad to re-connect under such circumstances but know that my prayers and thoughts are with you as you mourn the loss of one of our country's heroes, and a personal hero to me. What a blessing it was to have shared in his life. I have peace in the knowledge that those who believe know that "To be "absent from the body" is to be "present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:8). Love you, Roxanne, Larry and Bree

There is an empty place in my life, surprises me, didn't know how very much I look forward to you calling me every day at 6PM to make sure I get home safely from work. Miss our Sunday afternoon visits with friends and lunch out. Miss hearing you laugh, and seeing your smile. I never realized it, but I have never seen you angry or mean, didn't dawn on me till I was trying to explain why I treasured your friendship so much. You are a good man Don Ament and you have left a void in the lives of your friends and loved ones. God bless and keep you close to His heart.
