Donald L. SkinnerFuneral services for Donald L. Skinner, 75, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lifeway Fellowship Church with burial following at the Killeen City Cemetery. Mr. Skinner died Oct. 11, 2009, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Don loved his family first and foremost; he also enjoyed hunting, fishing and just hanging out with his nephew, Jeff Ferrell, and loved all things John Wayne. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edna Ruth Griffin Skinner; one daughter, Donna Ruth Archer and her husband, Tracy; one son, Ronald Blake Skinner and his wife, Kana; three granddaughters, Kelsie and Tori Archer as well as Manda Levy and her husband Ray, who have Don's great-granddaughter, Willow, all of Killeen; three grandsons, Kyle, Keifer and Kole; two additional great-grandchildren, Max and Lily; two cousins, Leonard Hunt of Florida and Gary Hunt of California; several brothers and sisters-in law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Scott & White Cancer Research and/or Lifeway Fellowship Building Fund. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
