.Dorothy Lee Enyart Melton went to be with her heavenly father on October 29, 2014. She was born to John and Elizabeth Enyart on March 29, 1932 on a farm outside of Lewisville, Illinois. She was 82 years old. Dorothy married Edd Melton, Jr. on May 10, 1950 in Kingston, Tenn. They had four children, Al Lee Melton of Hawaii; Edwina Holbert Melton and her husband John of Round Rock, TX; Almeda Elizabeth Pack and her husband John of Georgetown, TX; and Edd Melton III, and his wife Claudia of Youngsport, TX. She had seven grandchildren, Landry and Levi Pack, Chelsea and Bobbie Shae Melton, Spencer and Kathryn Holbert; and Wendy Perez. They were deeply loved by Dorothy and spent time with her playing in the creek at the ranch, spending a never-ending supply of quarters at Pistol Pete’s, and building castles in the sand at Mustang Island, TX. Dorothy had an undefeatable spirit. She traveled with Edd in the Army to many States, including Fulda, Germany. Upon Edd’s retirement, she helped with the family businesses. She also taught Sunday school and worked in the church her whole life. An avid reader and enthusiastic traveler, Dorothy was always glad to be home with family.
