

Douglas was born July 16, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas to Mardi Slagle and Scott Redlin.
He graduated from Shoemaker High School in 2002 and graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was currently employed with Killeen Independent School District as a Sixth grade History Teacher at Rancier Middle School where he also was the football and basketball coach and assisted with track and field.
Douglas was a very avid Seattle fan for both the Seahawks and the Mariners.
Douglas is survived by his fiancé, Maritza Flores of Harker Heights; his mother and step-dad, Mardi and Melvin Peaster of Copperas Cove; his father and step-mother, Scott and Rebecca Redlin of Copperas Cove; sister, Kate Johnson and her husband Don of Torrance, CA; niece, Abigail Fraass of Torrance, CA; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Merle Slagle of Streetman, TX and paternal grandparents, Ronald and Elaine Redlin of Racine, Wisconsin.
The Redlin family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with Pastor Ray Zischang officiating. Interment services will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Killeen.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Brown, George Chinea, Rob Fix, David Flores, Spencer Higgins, Robert Lynch, Mark Slagle, Sawyer Stowers.
