ADD A MEMORY
Your loving wife Trudy Schieber

August 14, 2016

I thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday
And days before that too.
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories
And your pictures in a frame.
Your memory's my keepsake
With which I'll never part.
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.

You are my sunshine and my life,
Together forever side by side.
I love you with all my heart and soul Daddy!

Trudy,
I still remember meeting "Cousin Ed" for the first time at Aunt Carlene and Uncle Snick's when all of us girls visited with Mom and Charley. I was in my early twenties and knew from the moment I met Ed and saw you two together that he was going to be a special person in all of our lives. Immediately he insisted you both take me out and show me the fun side of your town. What a great memory! Going out of his way for a young girl he just met, just to make me feel at home. While you were working, he showed us ladies the town , you both had cookouts and graciously continued to open your house to many of us over the years. My love for Texas grew so large mainly because of you and Ed. After I married Mike and we had Hope and Michael, they all grew to love you both as much as I do, through your visits and phone calls. So many times you both offered your home to us and others to just visit or even to move there. When you both visited Mike and I, we both loved seeing you two together. You definitely are soul mates, Trudy. Your deep love for each other shined through in all that you both said and did. You two were an inspiration to young couples! Although I know that "Cousin Ed" is out of pain and he is now with God. and at peace, my heart also breaks for you because I know how much you will miss him for now. I hope you find comfort ,Trudy , in the love and memories you both shared, in your faith, children, grandchildren, family, and friends through this difficult time. We feel blessed to have known this Big, Beautiful, Burly Blessing we all called "Cousin Ed". We love you so much Trudy and will be here and will keep you in our prayers. Love, Aunt Inie, Cheri, Mike, Hope, and Michael

Our hearts were broken from the news that Big Ed passed on. The Schiebers were always a staple at Killeen Bowlerama and Ed will truly be missed. Trudy, Jeff and the rest of the family, we know your pain is deep and words can't heal that. Ed left a legacy of kindness, hardwork, laughter, integrity, brotherhood and love. His legacy will live on in his family and friends. His entire extended family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Ride on, Big Ed, rest with the angels.

Ed, "Big Ed", Although we have been miles apart for years since we moved to Germany, we have always shared in celebrating in our families accomplishments. We know you will rest easy knowing that you have brought joy and happiness into so many lives both young and old and that these lives will always be there to carry on your legacy. You know your family will continue on their journeys through life knowing that you have set for them the example of how they should love their families and friends and how they should always strive to achieve their goals as you always did, through hard work and diligence. We are proud to have known you and to have called you our friend. We will always remember you with great respect in our thoughts and prayers.
