

Funeral services for Elmer J. Mosley, 90, of Killeen will be at 10 AM on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Skyline Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Rawls and Rev. Jack W. Husung, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors at 1 PM.
He was born to James and Margarite Mosley on March 5, 1920 in Axtel, Texas. Mr. Mosley passed away on June 28, 2010 in a Temple Hospital.
Mr. Mosley retired from the US Army after 21 years of service as a SFC. After retiring from the Army he worked Civil Service at Ft. Hood as a Supply Specialist and retired from civil service. He was very active in the community as a volunteer at Scott & White Hospice, Senior Citizens Center and Skyline Baptist Church. At Skyline he was a faithful member, Sunday school teacher, member of the music department, and supported all of the programs in the church. Mr. Mosley and his wife were charter members of Skyline Baptist Church.
Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Palma Mosley. He is survived by his two brothers; Walter E. Mosley and wife, Mildrid, Gene Mosley and wife, Bobbie, both of Houston.
