Graveside services, for Emma Nell Hosman Hadden, 94, of Killeen will be 10:30am Wednesday October 9, 2019 at Killeen City Cemetery in Killeen. She passed away October 4, 2019 at a local hospital. Emma Nell was born January 18, 1925 in King, Texas to Barry and Nora Pruett Dickie. She was the last of 11 children. She graduated from Pear High School in 1943. She was a member of the state winning basketball team and several of her grandchildren shared her love of basketball. She completed her Cosmetology license at Jolley Beauty College in San Angelo, Texas. She married Leslie Jackson Hosman in the 1950s. They shared 5 beautiful girls, Sharon Kaye Hollis, Melinda Sue Sutton, Cathy Lou Crum, Patricia Ann Randall, and Lori Dawn Buker. Emma was a homemaker and held several odd jobs through the years. She never met a stranger and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it. She love and she loved big. You always knew her heart and what was on her mind. She did not mince words and we loved her for it. She was a phenomenal cook and taught many daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to make her specialty dishes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Hosman, her second husband, Ralph Wallace Hadden, her son-in-law, William Francis Randall, and daughter, Sharon Hollis. She is survived by her children Melinda & Butch Sutton, Cathy & Richard Crum, Patricia Randall, Lori Buker, and Norman Hollis, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm Tuesday October 8, 2019 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
