Freddie F. Lettman, 95, of Harker Heights, Texas, passed away on May 4, 2026. Born in Glentana, Montana on April 2, 1931, Freddie proudly served 25 years in the U.S. Army before continuing his career with Connell Chevrolet and later managing Ace In The Hole Pawn.
Freddie was known for his gentle nature, honesty, humor, and love for family, friends, fishing, and working in his yard.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Elsie; his sister, Pat; and his daughter, Karen. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Maxine; sister Bernice; brother Joe; son Steven (Rosemary); grandchildren Zach (Mariana) and Rachel (Joe); great grandson Gregory; and many nieces and nephews.
A military service will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Texas Veteran’s Cemetery, 11463 Highway 195. A memorial service will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3801 Cunningham Rd., Killeen.
