George V. Alvarado Sr., Died Monday morning February 13, 2017 suddenly at Temple Veterans Hospital in Temple, TX. George is a Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals. Including, the Bronze Star. He grew up in La Puenta, California. He is the Son of Tony and Josephine Alvarado.He served 1 year with distinction as a Artillery in Vietnam and 21 years total in the United States Army. After retiring from the Army, he worked for Texas Instruments and Wilson Art. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Frances (Hermosillo) Alvarado; his Son, George Alvarado Jr.; and his Daughters, Norine Alvarado and Daria Colyer followed by Nine Grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on February 21st, 2017 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Arrangements under the direction of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen, TX.
