So many memories that fill a wonderful life, but most important are the love of family, friends, God, and country. You had them all and for that you will always be remembered.

We will all miss Dad terribly, but our loss is Heaven's gain. I'm sure he's spreading his humor around with all the ones who have gone before him... : )

I am so grateful for the attributes you passed on to your son, Steven, who I am fortunate enough to share my life with. His humor, drive & fight, and humility all came from you, Dad. Because you were such a special man, my husband is a special man too. I am so proud of the fact that you and Mom reared God-fearing children, who are respectful of others.

May we all strive to live up to the example you set. I loved you and respected you so very much.

Til we meet again,
Julie Hosick

Vivian & family...An old soldier and close friend has faded away. The many
many experiences that we shared during
the last 35 years would fill a book and probably would become a best seller. Our fishing stories alone would fill many chapters. Our camaradrie began in 1977 when you and
Jerry persuaded us to join Grace Lutheran Church. We began a relationship that continued to grow year after year. Our military backgrounds helped to forge a common
bond that has been pretty much unbreakable. Our largest disagreements
were what fishing lures to use/who caught the most fish and and of course
our political jabs at each other. I
do not recall a single argument during
our friendship. Jerry will be missed
and mourned for a very long time until
we meet again. To all the family we
love you and share your grief. With all our love...Elwood & Jeanne

I met Pop many years ago while working with him at Fort Hood. His humor, gentleness, and the truly deep feeling of peace and joy of living I got from just being near him always had me mesmerized. When I met Vivian, I understood why he enjoyed life as he did. I am so glad my path crossed yours and will hold dear the memories of our visits.

To Vivian & the Hosick family at this very sad time in your lives; I met Mr. & Mrs. Hosick through the dental office. I truly looked forward to your appointments to hear what was going on with your family and I especially remember Vivian telling me about the cruise - such a happy time. Keep your memories in your hearts always. I will be thinking about you and keeping my own memories of two very special people. Barbara

I am sorry for your loss, and I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. It was very special to have another family on the journey with us. May God bless all of you. Rest in peace Mr. Hosick.

During my life I have met some very influential people, such as Presidents and Governors. But none of them had more of an influence on my life than my Father. Dad you will always be with me in my heart and I will continue to live my life as you lived yours loving family and always respecting others. I will always hold dear the memories we built over the years, especially during the last 17 years living here with you and Mom. As I continue my journey through life I feel you will always be at my side to guide me in the right direction as you did while here on earth. Rest well Father as you have earned it and one day we will all be together again as a family.

Love forever your son,
