Geraldine Matthews Sam

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarice Matthews and Alexander Edmond and sister Emma Joyce Matthews.

Geraldine was a beautiful child of God. Her heart for her savior, showed through her spirit of loving and caring.

She had the soul of an Angel. Geraldine never did meet a stranger that she did not welcome into her heart or her home. She had a hug and a warm smile that would make anyone feel loved and special.

Geraldine resided in Killeen, Texas for over 30 years and was employed for KISD where she had the opportunity to touch the lives of many individuals with her kindness.

Geraldine leaves behind John Sam; daughter April Evans; granddaughter Katelynn Evans; brother and sisters, Wilson Matthews, Eleanor Matthews and Mary Matthews and a host of friends and relatives that will greatly miss her and will forever hold her memory in their hearts!

A memorial service in honor of Geraldine Sam will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Westside Baptist Church of Killeen with Rev. Hallie Tolbert officiating.
