Gloria was a soul that when she entered your life you were blessed tri-fold.  I met Gloria before my husband and I married.  She taught me about military  life and being married to a Warrant Officer. Gloria rescued me a few times as I struggled to keep up the new pool we built before Chief left for Iraq. We had adventures while I drove her around that scared me but she always had me laughing.  Gloria gave a lot for her country and her suffering thru the years that we all witnessed, never kept her down for long.  She had an inner strength that kept her going thru the years when many of us would have given up. Gloria loved her husband, Mike and made sure they shared many adventures that none of us ever would have dreamed up. Celebrating on the Starship Enterprise and visiting Graceland were adventures they experienced. Gloria's love for Mike and Mike's for Gloria is one that endured much over their years of marriage.  Mike,  I hope you know that you are not alone, Gloria lives on in your heart and memories. She would want you to enjoy life with the grandchildren until it is your time to join her. Continue to do the things you planned and dreamed.  Although we lost touch through the years, know you can call us anytime and we pray you will reach out to us.  I treasure the memories of you all at our two weddings.  I pray I can be a strong partner as the two of you were to each other. What a blessing and role model you both are to all military and non-military couples.  We pray for your peace as you struggle through your loss Mike. We send you hugs and love. Mike, Steve and family,  I am so sorry about Gloria.  She was so fun and always had such a positive outlook.  I uploaded a photo taken at Grandma Irene's funeral.  It was so great to see her that day.  Sorry I haven't talked to her for a long time, it is definitely my loss.  

I really enjoyed the telephone conversations I had with Gloria over the last few years.  I will miss her.  

Gloria is the love of my life and when I think about it it was love at first sight.

As the years went by, we became the best of friends. She was always a kind and loving person. 
I was able to meet Mike and he welcomed me to their home as well. 
The four of us had good times together having lunch, dinner, watched movies and played games. 
My loving Gloria will be sorely missed. 🌷

The first time I met Gloria was when her son married our daughter.  She welcomed us into her home and family with that big beautiful  smile and hugs!   May God wrap Mike, Steve and family in His loving arms and guide them in the days ahead, letting them know He is always with them!
