Harvey D. Bradley was born October 5th 1949 to the late Roosevelt Bradley and Mary Bell Bradley; he was one of ten children.
Born in Statesboro, Georgia raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and resided in Killeen, Texas for the latter part of his life. He graduated from Ben Franklin High school. He married the love of his life, Edna (Cookie) in 1967. Harvey worked and accomplished his dream of opening his auto detailing shop, (Harvey’s Auto Detailing). He loved fast cars and his Cadillacs. He was a hard-working, God-fearing man that loved life, family and the Lord. He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing, fishing, bird watching and listening to jazz and gospel music
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Edna Marie Bradley; two daughters, Venus Bradley and Nyarkoa Asare; one granddaughter, Treasure Unique Har’Ve; three sisters, LA’ Blanche, Carolyn and Jacqueline; children he cared for: Anthony, Kenny, Regina, Tanda and Yvette; as well as a host of family members and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his two brothers, Ralph and Ray; his four sisters Lunnie, Dorothy, Earthise and Carrie; children he cared for: James and Mark.
Harvey was understanding and helpful; if he could do anything for you he would. The churches he attended would ask him to sing a song or say a prayer that would have the whole congregation in tears; he knew how to talk to God. He never asked for anything for his birthdays or holidays. Harvey would only request knowledge, understanding, life and good health.
