Heather Rene Pundt Alzayat

The life of Dr. Heather Rene Alzayat, 36, of Killeen, will be celebrated at the First Baptist Church in Killeen at 12:00pm, Monday, December 21, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Killeen under the direction of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Visitation is at 10 am. Internment service will follow at Killeen Memorial Park.

Dr. Alzayat passed away on December 15, 2015 at her home in Georgetown, TX. She was born March 19, 1979 to Dr. Wayne and Mary Ellen Pundt in Killeen, TX at Metroplex Hospital. She attended Killeen Adventist Junior Academy. She graduated from Valley Grande Academy in 1997. She graduated with a B.S. Degree in Biology from Southwestern Adventist University in 2001. She pursued graduate school earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2005.

Heather joined her father, Dr. Wayne Pundt, at his practice, Pundt Family Dentistry in Killeen, TX, 2005 to present, working alongside her father, her husband, her brother, and other associates throughout the years. She had a passion for sharing the love of Jesus Christ by serving others through the mission of dentistry that took her to a variety of countries including Belize and multiple trips to Nicaragua.

After a long relationship with Dr. Sameh Alzayat, the two were married on April1, 2011 in Austin, TX. They enjoyed travelling and spending time with friends around the country. They also enjoyed a passion for dentistry together. They were blessed with their son, Ramses Samuel Alzayat, on May 1, 2015. Their residence is in Georgetown, TX.

She enjoyed many fun interests including singing, dancing, shopping, traveling, snowboarding, SCUBA diving/snorkeling, 4-wheel motorcycles, boating/wakeboarding, but most of all time with friends, family, and her beautiful son, Ramses.

She is survived by her husband Dr. Sameh Alzayat, her son Ramses Samuel Alzayat, 7 months old; her Chihuahua Mocha; her parents Dr. Wayne & Mary Ellen Pundt of Killeen; her brother Dr. Gary Pundt, sister-in-law Steffanie Pundt, niece Elayna Pundt of Nolanville; her parents Fikri and Marie Alzayat of Sundland, CA; her brother-in-law Shady Alzayat of San Francisco, CA; her aunt and uncle Cindy and Ron Pundt, cousins Dr. Che and Cari Gwin, children Madison and Logan; Craig and Ashley Pundt, children, Ashlyn and Chayne; Elizabeth Pundt; her aunt Kathie Kimbrough; cousin Deanna and Art Rodriquez (their sons Christopher and Michael); cousin Carrie Crawford (her son Carson); as well as many extended family members and friends.
