

Services for Inge Rosemarie Jackson, 76, of Killeen, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
Mrs. Jackson died Feb. 9, 2011, in a Temple hospital. She was born June 8, 1934, to Dr. Hermann Karl Bleckmann and Lina Katharina Irmgard Bleckmann in Vaihingen, Germany.
She was raised in Germany with her older brother, Rudi, and sisters, Irene, Helga and Sigrid. She married Andrew Clinton Jackson in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany, on June 25, 1951. She enjoyed being an Army wife for the next 28 years, being stationed at several different stateside and foreign bases.
The couple raised their children, Barbara Ann, Andrew Hugh and Margaret Ann. She enjoyed traveling, reading, walking and working in her yard. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and lived in Killeen for the past 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew Clinton Jackson; and sister, Irene Erchinger of Germany.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ann and Raymond Upp of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Margaret Ann and Bill Daniel of Killeen; son, Andrew Hugh and Lara Jackson of Temple; grandchildren, January, Valerie, Scott, Zachary, Kalan and Teeo; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Jacob, Brenden, Jordan and Aydin; brother, Rudi and Doris Bleckmann of Stuttgart, Germany; sisters, Helga and Charles Bodley of Camp Hill, Pa., and Sigrid and Tom Strain of Salina, Kan.; and sister-in-law, Gert Peelman of Oilton, Okla.

Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen is in charge of arrangements.
