With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Inge Vaux, a woman whose kindness wrapped around everyone she met like sunlight through a kitchen window.
Inge was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert Vaux. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Sonja and Barbara, along with her cherished bonus family, Betina and Dylan, and her beloved grandson, Joshua, who held a very special place in her heart. The love she had for him was endless and could be felt in every smile, hug, and moment they shared together and Kristen who she truly loved like a daughter
Inge was known for her gentle spirit, caring heart, and the way she made people feel instantly at home. She loved cooking for the people she loved, and her kitchen was a place filled with comfort, laughter, and unforgettable meals. Her potato salad was legendary, made with the kind of love you could taste in every bite.
She passed peacefully surrounded by her daughter Sonja and Sonja’s husband, John, whom she loved dearly, wrapped in love during her final moments. That same love she gave so freely throughout her life surrounded her as she made her journey home.
She will be remembered not only for the meals she prepared, but for the love she poured into every conversation, every hug, and every act of kindness. She was the kind of person who made the world softer simply by being in it.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, her love remains woven into the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will continue to live on around dinner tables, in shared stories, and in the hearts of her family forever.
🌹 Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
