He was born July 17, 1941 in Evanston, IL. and passed away on February 21,2012 in Killeen.
Gene was a veteran of the US Army with 8 years’ service. He owned and operated Gene’s Automotive Shop in Killeen for 30 years.
He married Erika Zeitner on March 15,1960 in Nurnberg, Germany.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Erika of Killeen and a daughter Terry Vaux and husband Eric of Harker Heights.
Gene was cremated and will be inurned at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
