Janie Garcia Ybarra

Janie was the most loving, caring, mother and grandmother anyone could ask for. She was all about family, she did for her children and grandchildren whenever needed. She was the embodiment of a strong fighter in so many ways. Janie fought 3 cancers and was fighting her last one for 5 years. She was courageous in the face of adversity, even with her own ongoing battle she was there for her family.

She was an INSPIRATION to us and anyone who knew just what she was going through.

Janie is survived by, her daughter; Janice Ybarra, 3 Sisters; Francis Ybarra, Lupe Alvarez, and Rosie Cruz; 1 Brother; Lewis Garcia, 4 Grandsons; James-Curtis, Antonio, Carlos and Daniel Jose, 4 Granddaughters; Victoria Cassandra, Matilda and Amelia Gabriel, and Chasity Ybarra; 5 great grandchildren, and 2 adopted grandchildren.

A Visitation & Rosary for Janie will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM. A Committal Service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
