Joe Don Button

A memorial service for Joe Don Button will be held 4-6pm Thursday September 21, 2017 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will be held at a later date. Joe was born in La Crosse, Kansas June 18, 1935 to Vern and Laura (Schwindt) Button. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army where he served 20 years. After he retired he worked with the U.S. Army Operational Test Command for 33 years. Joe was active in the Bell County Historical Commission, Cub Scout Pack 248, Boy Scout Troup 287 and coached Killeen Cowboys football. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Ann Davis.
