Scotty served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. Later, he developed a deep interest in Asia. He learned Chinese and worked and traveled throughout the region. It was in Shanghai that he met his wife, Joan. They shared more than 30 years of life together.
Scotty was always kind and friendly to everyone he met. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
