Dear Norma, Joey's time here on earth may be short but he lived life to the fullest and he left footprints of kindness, love, courage and compassion that all of us should try to follow.

I have had the pleasure of being a part of this family for the past 30years which got me a front row seat of many of the great memories made.  Joey was a great example to his family in regards to faith, being a provider, a hard worker as well has having a sense of humor although "sick humor" at times. :-)  Norma he will always be present in your life to come and Adriana, Damian, Sebastian and Maximo he will be watching over you and I know you will make him proud.  We Love you all to the core!   We miss you Joey and look forward to going to the "place that's the best, the spirit in the sky!"

Dearest Norma, we are very sorry to hear about Joey. Nothing that can be said can ever fill that giant hole in any of your hearts. We are praying for you and the children and praying for peace and comfort. CPT Colon was my friend in Kosovo.  We laughed so hard when our picture with Palin was put on her site and captioned as Palin with Alaskan soldiers. It was an honor to know this smart, funny man who loved his family. I will miss him.

" I am so sorry to hear of CPT Colon passing. He is going to be greatly missed. He was a great friend and a great soldier. He always took care of his soldiers. I am greatfull that I got to serve with him and that we where in the same unit together. On behalf of those of us from the OR/PACU from the 5501st we will truly miss you!
