Joseph A Peterson 86, of Killeen, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Born July 11, 1930 he pastored churches in Texas and Oklahoma and missions churches in Idaho and Colorado.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty (Bryant), a daughter Sharla Reitnauer, husband Otto, and granddaughter Joyanna of Macon, GA, a son Greg Peterson, wife Stephanie and granddaughter Briana of Phippsburg, CO as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home form 6-8 PM. A Celebration of life service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Skyline Baptist Church 906 Trimmier Rd in Killeen. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Memorial may be made to the Mission Fund at Skyline Baptist Church.
