Services for Retired SFC Joseph ”Mark” Stamper will be 12pm Friday May 15, 2015 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. He was born July 13, 1949 at Fort Bragg, NC. Mark passed peacefully at Heroes Haven at the VA Hospital in Temple on May 12, 2015. Mark was preceded in death by his parents James H. and Mary E. Stamper Sr. and brother, James H Stamper Jr. Mark is survived by his wife of 48 years Tennie P. Barron Stamper of Killeen, TX, sons Mark Shane Stamper and Jacob Stamper, daughter Shannon D. Stamper VanderZwaag , sisters, Barbara Lee Cogdill of Fort Worth, and Marie “Elaine” Rentfro of Branson MO and brother, John Stamper of Kempner, TX, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. Family visitation will be from 9:30am to 11:30 Friday May 15, 2015 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX
