Joyce Ilene Steiner

Joyce was born to Bernard and Dorothy Rennaker on May 20, 1945 in Marion, Indiana where she grew up with her three sisters and two brothers. On June 3, 1972 she married Stanley B. Steiner, and faithfully stood by his side for over 20 years of military service, following him around the globe throughout various U.S. Army duty assignments. She served as Stanley’s loving wife for over 51 years, together raising their three children.

Joyce worked in various secretarial and clerical jobs over the years, but career was never her priority; her earthly devotion was to her husband and their joint efforts in raising a family, and above all, she served God in every aspect of her life. She was a truly genuine person who radiated kindness and generosity not only to those she knew well, but to all she came in contact with.

She is survived by her husband Stan, son Ben, and daughters Amy and Ann; sisters, Connie Cook, Sharon Leidig, Jill Rennaker, brothers Lowell Rennaker, and Terry Rennaker; and grandchildren Andrew and Alyssa Lane.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 Saturday, November 18th at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.
