Long time Borger resident, Katherine (Kathy) Ann Partain, passed away at her home in Killeen, Texas, on Nov. 27, 2010. She was born to Loy V. and Beulah Reese on Sept. 4, 1947, and lived in Borger for 57 years. She is survived by her daughter Alice Shores Brown and husband Sanford of Killeen, Texas. Grandsons, Justin Ryan Brown and Christopher Jerrad Brown, both of Houston, a sister, Charlene Ayers of Cedar Hill, Tx, and a host of nephews, nieces and family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband--Ronald M. Partain, son--Troy V Shores, Father--Loy V Reese, Mother--Beulah Dodson Reese, Sisters--Drucilla Reese McElroy and Geneva Reese Ross, and her brother William Loy "Bo" Reese.

A Memorial Service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at Crawford Bowers Funeral Chapel in Killeen, Texas.
