She was born July 4,1929 in Chicago, Il, and passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in Killeen.
She was a veteran in the Women’s Army Corp and was discharged in 1955. She also worked for 24 years at Darnall Army Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Louie Austin and Hershel Hill and a son Daniel Austin.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Austin and grandchildren Amanda Austin, Shelly Austin, Kyle Austin and Kate Austin.
There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Killeen.
