

Keith was born to Evelyn and William Soll on February 4, 1942, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Keith served two tours in Vietnam as an Army Veteran of 20-plus years. He received many service awards, including the Army Commendation Medal/Army Good Conduct Medal with silver, one loop, the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea), the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Republic of Vietnam, the Gallantry Cross with Palm, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Expert Badge for Rifle.
After retiring from the Military, Keith served as a Corrections Officer for the Texas Department of Corrections and then worked as a maintenance worker in the local school district. In 1992, Keith was elected as the constable for Coryell County, Texas.
Those who knew him best would describe him as a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, as well as a very sweet and funny gentleman. With his personality, it was easy for him to make friends with anyone and everyone he ever came into contact with.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and William Soll; his older brothers, Kenneth and Gerald Soll; and his spouse, Agnes Soll.
Keith is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Torres, with whom he had a very close father-daughter relationship, and his youngest granddaughter, Jewel Torres. He is also survived by his elder granddaughter, Kara Abeita, her husband, Andrew Abeita, and their children, Keith’s great-grandchildren Elliot and Eliana Abeita. He is also survived by his ex-spouse and close friend of many years, Kathleen Stockman, and their son, Robert Soll.
