Mrs. Hinkle passed away February 26, 2014 at a local hospital.
Lena was born February 9, 1930 in Mesquite, Texas to Stephen B. and Bertie (Poole) Brown and was raised in Lott. She moved to the Killeen area in 1943. In 1961, Lena started work with United Artist Theaters and was employed with them for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, Charles W. Hinkle, and two grandsons.
Survivors include two sons, David (Neta) Hinkle of Henderson and Charles Gene Hinkle of Branson, MO; daughter, Norma (Wesley) Attaway of Killeen; brother, Ben (Doris) Brown and sister, Nelda Mansfield; five grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 3 to 5 pm.
