im so sorry for your great loss. it was so nice to see the resemblance of her in her children. I painted a lighthouse for her several years ago when I worked  as an aide and met her at peebles. Back then she told me of a book she was writing and some painting she wanted to do on a garage door I remember. She was full of fun and imagination and loved her kids in school.  Im so glad I met her and saw how the kids respected and loved her. May God grant you all the grace of being comforted for she was a light here and will be there also. God has her in his bosom now .

She was a great mom and recently remarried her best friend Joe...Condolences are not enough, but are heart-felt...she was an amazing, unique person, and is with Jesus now.

My prayers go out to Linda's family. She will be missed greatly. I worked with "Calhoun" for 12 years at Peebles Elementary. She was an inspiring, creative, and amazing teacher and friend!

Hearing about your loss has deeply saddened us, but we know that this is far from what you are going through right now. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family.  As the “girls” grew up together, we loved Linda and her “can do” attitude.  She always read the Nicholas Sparks books and then just decided one day to write a book of her own.  She spent many hours, weeks and months … she did just that – wrote and published Dancing on the Fence, which is a fun story that gave a piece of Linda for us all to keep.  
Again, words cannot say how sorry we are for the loss of a wonderful wife, mother and friend.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Linda.  While I did not know her well, I did work at Peebles and knew who she was.  Most recently, I began seeing her again at church and spoke with her a few times as I dropped of my son at his class.  My prayers are with her family and the Peebles family as well.
