Memorial services and inurnment for Maria Adele Winter Tambornino, 67, of Copperas Cove, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with Father Jim Robertson officiating. Mrs. Tambornino died Nov. 29, 2010, in a Copperas Cove nursing home. She was born Jan. 24, 1943 in Laufersweiler, Germany to Kurt Winter and Anna Marie Weckmann Winter.
Mrs. Tambornino married Richard Patrick Tambornino in Reno, Nev., in 1974. He preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 2009, after 35 years of marriage.
Mrs. Tambornino was a homemaker and had lived in Copperas Cove since 1997.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina Gonzales and her husband, Timothy, of Germany; two granddaughters, Melissa Tambornino of Copperas Cove and Shara Gonzalez of Germany; and her beloved friend, Linda Blanchard of Copperas Cove.
