Marshall C. Watkins

Mr. Watkins was born November 18, 1923 in Sherman, TX and passed away in Austin, TX on June 3, 2011.

He served in the Army during World War II from 1943 to 1945, and fought in the Battle of the Bulge and other conflicts in the Ardennes and Rhineland campaigns.

Marshall married Billie Martin in 1946. He was a Morton Potato Chip Distributor and KISD bus driver before he retired in 2009.

Marshall was also Post Master of the Killeen Masonic Lodge #1125.

Mr. Watkins is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mattie Linn Watkins, two siblings; Catharine Russell and Keith Watkins.

Mr. Watkins leaves behind his wife Billie Martin Watkins; three sons; George Watkins and wife Glenda of Austin, Randy Watkins and Debbie of Katy and Stacy Watkins and wife Jenny of Waxhaw, NC. , four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family of Mr. Watkins will be receiving visitors Monday, June 06, 2011 from 6p.m. – 8p.m. at the funeral home.
