Mary Cardona, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on August 13, 2019 at the age of 94. She was the heart of the family and will be greatly missed.

She was born in San German Puerto Rico. She married her beloved Felix Cardona in 1951. Together they raised four children. As a military family, they spent many years traveling the world until settling down in Killeen .

Mary was a home maker and a very active volunteer. She delivered “meals on wheels” for many years and was an active member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Legion of Mary and knights of Columbus Knight Cappers.

She loved to cook for her family and friends and she loved to garden.

She is preceded in death by her husband Felix and her daughter Maria “Lily” Cohee.

She is survived by her son Felix Cardona and wife Ok, son Carlos Cardona and wife Terry, daughter Cindy Hicks and husband Clyde, Son-in-law Lynn Cohee. Grandchildren Lynn Cohee, Travis Cohee, Ricky Cardona, Carlos Cardona, Sara Lambert, Codi Rich, Christopher Zeniecki, Linda Scott, Taylor Hicks, Tyler Hicks, Ryan Hicks and thirteen great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday August 16, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen at 11:00 a.m. A Family visitation and gathering will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2019

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home

Interment will be at Killeen Memorial Park

I remember going to my aunt's home in Massachusetts for thanksgiving. She always cooked a feast for us. It was my mom and dad, 5 brothers and me.
My aunt Mary would always treat us with love.
I am praying for the family.

Aunt Mary was my godmother, the last time I saw her was a couple of years ago when she came to P.R with my cousin Lily she was a sweet and lovely women with an easy smile, she will be missed.
