She is survived by her husband, Harry; their three children: Sage, Jeremiah, and Aliyah; four sisters and brother.
Megan was a loving wife, mother and sister, and honorably served her country in the U.S. Army. She fought for her country and her family. She showed the courage and strength to not only battle enemies in Afghanistan but to battle cancer at home.
Even in the face of great odds against her having lost both her parents to cancer and then fighting for her own life she never lost her faith in the Lord. Her faith kept her going through the ups and downs, as she fought to the bitter end.
Megan is at peace now but will forever remain in our hearts and memories.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
