Patricia Ann Armistead

Pat taught elementary school for a total of 35 years, 3 years in the Panhandle, prior to receiving her BS, and after graduating from West Texas State University, Pat moved to Killeen where she taught for 32 years in Killeen ISD at Peebles Elem School. During her time in Killeen, she met and then married Sydney Earle, they were married 46 years until his death in Oct 2017. They had two children Jenny and Julie.

Pat was a charter member and deacon of Trinity Baptist Church, Harker Heights TX, charter member and current President of Alpha Delta Kappa-Epsilon Theta Chapter. She was an active member of the Killeen Wednesday Review Club and Killeen Schools Retirees. Pat had a heart and passion for missions, serving many years in WMU and going with mission teams to China and Lasara, TX.

She leaves behind daughter Jenny (Dennis), daughter Julie, adopted daughter Margie (Tracy), grandchildren Garon (Tara), D.W. (Gretchen), Anna (Jack), Jesse (Sarah), Dalton, Ronnie, Wyatt, Billy, and Amie, two great grandchildren Garrett and Gavin, one sister Joyce (Jack) and one brother Terry (Kerry) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by husband Syd, parents Strip and Thelma, and her brother Walter.

The Family will receive visitors February 10 at 2:00pm at Trinity Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00pm. Burial will be Monday February 12 at 1:00pm at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery.
