Patricia Ann Simpson

December 31, 1942 – September 14, 2026

Patricia Ann Simpson, lovingly known as Pat, passed away peacefully in Killeen, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories of a life devoted to caring for others.

Born in West Orange, New Jersey, Pat was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Wilfred Mullen and Mary Mullen. She grew up surrounded by family and carried those family bonds with her throughout her life.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Wilfred and Mary Mullen, her sister, Mary O'Sullivan, grandson, Thomas David West, and great-granddaughter, Ebonniee Jeanne Gregg.

She is survived by her siblings, Thomas Mullen and his wife Marilyn, Rose Cruz and her husband Luis, and Theresa Figlia, who share with her daughters and grandchildren the memories of a sister, mother, grandmother, and Gigi who was deeply loved.

Pat dedicated much of her life to helping others. She was a retired nurse whose compassion extended far beyond her career. One of the things she cherished most was participating in medical missions, where she had the opportunity to use her nursing skills and caring heart to serve people in need. For Pat, nursing was more than a profession, it was a calling to make a difference in the lives of others.

Above all else, Pat treasured her family. She was the beloved mother of three daughters: Lisa Jeanne Simpson, Laura Ann Gregg and husband, Robert Gregg, and Lorraine Veronica Blanton. Her daughters were a source of tremendous pride and love throughout her life.

Pat was also a cherished grandmother and lovingly embraced her role as Gigi to her 11 greatgrandchildren.

She leaves behind five grandchildren and their spouses: Scott Yoak-Battiest and

Christopher Lankford, Ashley and Sarah Law, Randy and Heather Yoak, Joshua Tyler and Tylor

Gregg. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she gave them will continue through

every generation.

Pat will be remembered for her caring spirit, her dedication to helping others, her strength, and the

love she so freely gave to her family. Her life touched many people, not only through the patients

she cared for and the communities she served on medical missions, but also through the family and

friends who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though she is no longer with us, Pat's legacy of love, compassion, service, and family will live on in

the hearts of all who knew her.

She was deeply loved. She will be profoundly missed. And she will remain forever a part of the

family she cherished so dearly.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Your loving heart and the lives you touched will be your lasting legacy.

A celebration of life reception will be held at Crawford-Bower Funeral Home in Killeen, TX, on

September 28, 2026, at 1 pm.
