SSG (Ret.) Patrick Francis Redmond

Patrick served in the United States Army for 21 years, earning the rank of SSG before retiring. As a young Soldier, Patrick met his wife Lorraine by writing letters to her for 3 years during a tour in Germany. On April 6, 1964 Patrick and Lorraine meet face to face for the first time and they were married on April 18, 1964.

SSG (Ret.) Redmond served a total of 4 tours in Germany and 2 tours in Korea before moving to Copperas Cove, Texas in 1979. After retiring from the US Army, Patrick began working for the Non-appropriated Funds Company or NAF. He worked for NAF for 31 years and he was currently working for this company at the time of his passing away.

SSG (Ret.) Patrick Francis Redmond is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lorraine Kay Redmond. He also leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Raymond (Colleen) and Adam (Erica) and three grandsons; Nathan, Wyatt and Noah.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 12:30 PM in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen. Inurnment will follow with full military honors in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
