He asked for no quarter and gave no quarter.A fair and honest man that went the extra mile that it took to train me and many others to stay alive in the most dangerous place on earth. When sand hit the fan as it did outside the wire our convoys pushed as a team thanks to Paul. You saved many lives .Rest easy CSM P.Slicker and God bless you your family and friends.

To the family of SGM (Retired) Paul Slicker, I am sorry for your loss. I worked for Paul Slicker two separate times in Iraq while employed by KBR. 2007-2008, then 2010-2011. My second time In Iraq I was relieved when I heard he would be the Area manager because I knew he would set the standards.... I was saddened to hear of his passing. He was a genuinely good man. I am also an Army retiree and like a Non Commissioned Officer he backed his people and looked out for us retirees, civilians and Foreign Nationals. God bless all and I pray that he brings you strength in this time of sorrow and loss. He's in God's hands. The best place to be. I live in NC otherwise I would attend. I will have you in my prayers.Thank you for letting me share. Respectfully Aura Belaval
